Detailed Itinerary
Your trek begins at M'hamid, the last oasis before the great Sahara. We'll walk across a rocky desert plain before reaching the first small dunes. Our mobile camp will be set up for the night near the tomb of Sidi Naji, a pilgrimage site for nomads.
Day 2: Across the Dunes to Erg Zahar
Today we trek deeper into the desert, crossing several small ergs (dunes) before arriving at the magnificent, towering 'screaming dunes' of Erg Zahar. We'll set up camp and enjoy a stunning sunset from the top of a dune.
Day 3: Return Journey
After sunrise and breakfast, we begin our final leg of the trek, walking back towards the meeting point to conclude our authentic desert expedition.
